First you need to get rollback rights. For that, you need to have a good history of productive edits and anti-vandalism work ( and you have to have more than 100 edits). Also, you cant have a block on your record. After you get rollback rights, you need to wait a bit and then you can submit a request if the admin request page is open. We have about 4-6 active admins right now so the voting is closed. However, if an admin leaves the wiki or we feel we need more then they voting becomes open. That's the funny thing, I dont really like to read, so I listen to audiobooks. Each Percy Jackson book was about 10-14 hours long so I'd listen to one a day for about a week. Go to your User page. There is a box that says "Add a Photo." Click it and type something in a search that is related to what you want a picture of (single words work best, for example if you wanted a picture of Percy Jackson, just type in Percy). Battle of the Labyrtinth. In The Lightning Thief and The Titan's Curse, you learn that Kronos is slwoly building his army back up, but it doesnt really hit home until book 4. I mean you learn that not only monsters have joined his army, but demigods as well. Kronos himself even rose and it gives you the feeling that he is very powerful just from that chapter. There is enough evidence to suggest they are related somehow. I mean they share the same last name, they look alike, and Sammy moved to Texas when he was older and if Gaea is telling the truth, he got married. Also, Leo said he grew up in Texas, meaning he grew up in the same state Sammy died in. However, it hasn't been confirmed and it could just be a coincidence. I was one the track team for a year in High School, but I didnt like to be told to run so now I mostly just run with my dogs. I was the guy that was really good at most sports during gym, but not as good as the actual players for our school teams. I did have a few of them ask me to join the football team, but I didnt want to be hit, lol. But yes, the reason I picked Hermes is because I didnt want my character to be a child of the big three (none of my characters are), and I do enjoy running, so I went with the god of athletes. Not really. Nothing against the series, the first book was good but I never really got into Egyption mythology and I found myself waiting for the book to be over about half way into listening to it. He isnt as bad as people think he is. He wants to protect the camp, he is just doing in differently. He is focused too much on the past and has a very narrow-minded view when it comes to new things, but I dont think he is a traitor. Yes it is a young adult series, but I now people that have read the series (one or two of my aunts read it) and not everything can be categorized by age. You normally get one or two written warnings (warnings simply asking you to stop doing what you are doing), then a template warning (an official warning), then you will be blocked for a time depending on what you did wrong (anywhere from a day to forever). Books Edit
I haven't read it, but I think that there is a movie now (right?). I tried reading Lord of the Rings and gave up. I haven't seen the movies either, but I have seen they're taking the hobbits to isengard, which is a very good parody thing if you haven't seen it. I recommend to you The Hunger Games (by Suzanne Collins) and anything by Diana Wynne Jones, who writes very good fantasy. Also, the Inheritence Cycle (a series) by Christopher Paolini. Just because Santa isn't real doesn't mean I don't believe in him. The best way to describe it is Santa is a dream. If you have a dream, the dream itself may be fake but any emotions you felt because of it are real. I do. I can tell you how most people celebrate it. Germans mostly celebrate Christmas with the whole family (grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins). Unlike Americans or Brits, we don't open the presents (which of course, lie under the christmas tree, next to the manger) in the morning of the 25th but in the evening on December the 24th. Since it gets a little specific now I just tell you how my family does it. We open the presents together at about 6 pm and then we have dinner (mostly fondue). It's an old tradition in Germany to eat a christmas goose but we always prefered fondue and well, it's like the turkey on Thanksgiving in America. It's not like everyone eats a goose on christmas. The service at 5pm is for children and well, a little childish. So the service at 11pm is the only other option although I hardly ever go there. Well...I kind of gave up on the Lord of the Rings and at the moment I'm reading a lot of books. One of the English teachers in my school gave me permission to go into the store cupboard where all the books and plays used for English Lessons are held, and let me take out anything I wanted from the bottom shelf (books that aren't used any more but still there), provided I return them (I got 7!) - he's a really nice teacher. Plus, the libarary just got some new books in. I'm kind of notorious in my school because I read whilst I'm walking to lessons (and I've never fallen over/crashed into things). There is a sequel to the Hunger Games called Catching Fire, and then a final one called Mockingjay (its a trilogy). They are making a movie (http://thehungergames.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Kate.moon/NEW_Hunger_Games_Trailer - its just a trailer). I have heard of the Rangers Apprentice series, but I ahven't read because it's american and I live in Britian (so its hard to get). Can I add you to my friends list? You cant threaten someone with a threat in the realm of possibility. By that, I mean you cant say something like "I am going to kill you." The tearing to shreds thing isnt that bad as it can be taken in different ways and sounds kind of cartoonish. Also, it is polite to respect another person's opinion and you can bring forth your own opinion. However, criticizing another person's opinion is very rude without a good reason why and shouldn't have to be a rule (but I think it is). Nope. Especially not for english speakers. English is an incredibly simple language compared to German. For example, the German language has twelve different ways of forming the plural. A student of German as a foreign language must learn the plural for each new noun learned, while in english, you only put a -s on the end of the word. Also, German has 3 genders- masculine, feminine, and neuter. Each word has a gender that must be learned with the word, while in english everything, aside from persons, is neuter. I made 2 edits a day (one in the morning, one at night) because I was spending time with my family at one of my grandparents house. The problem is they live in the middle of nowhere and dont have fast internet. I would make small edits twice a day to keep my "Edit Once a Day" badge counter going. As far as the 2012 thing, people see it the wrong way. 12/21/12 is suppose to be a time of great change, not the end of the world (blame Hollywood for that). It is also one complete cycle around the center of the Milky Way. The odds of the world simply ending on that day is astronomically small. According to the Terms of Use for Wikia, members are suppose to be at least 13 years old or older. However, that may simply be as a way to prevent some people from going to a wiki site with more adult material that is out of their age range (like you wouldnt want a 10 year old going to a wiki about a rated R movie or something). Considering the series is labeled "Young Adult," we dont really worry about the 13 year limit as most of the people on here are between 11 and 18 (with a few exceptions). Hard to say, you dont take a class for a year and then move up a grade. You pick a new class every term (8-10 weeks) and then move up to the next level or take different class that required the first one (Like how you need to take an Algebra Class before you can take Calculus). Look at it this way. I just got the Hero of Olympus badge for making 7000 edits on pages. That means that only about 50% of my edits are on pages. The other 50% is things like blog edits, talk pages (which is a lot considering the number of questions people ask), profile edits, and there was that month a went around to all the pages to fix some of the spelling (adding to my total edits). That isnt an easy answer. When adding categories, it is part common sense and part knowing which categories dont go on pages. For example, normally any category like "Percy Jackson and the Olympians characters/events/places" is reserved for other categories while the sub categories (The Lightning Thief places/characters/events) are for the pages. The common sense thing also comes into play, for example a minor character wouldnt be a protagonist as a protagonist is a Good guy+Main character. I wont lie, categories can be tricky, just dont make up your own and someone will correct you if you add the wrong ones. Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 05:05, February 1, 2012 (UTC)
When you say delete, do you mean remove them from pages or actually delete the category? If you mean the first one, when editing a complete page, there will be a list of categories on the right and you just need to hit the trash can icon that appears when you move the mouse over it. On the wiki activity page, there is a small icon that looks like a piece of paper with a magnifing glass. If you click it, it will show you what edits a person made. On that menu is the Undo option which will undo the last edit. You can also do this on the Recent Activifty page, except instead of the magnifing glass icon, you just have to click the Diff link and the difference will appear. Categories Hi, PercyJacksonfan12. Here at Camp Half-Blood Wiki, when adding categories we never add index categories. They're just there to make things easier for browsing. These categories (ex. Locations, Characters, Series, etc.) only hold other categories. Also, we categorize locations by books (ex. Category:The Lightning Thief places and Category:The Lost Hero places), and characters by book (ex. Category:The Lightning Thief characters, Category:The Titan's Curse characters, Category:The Lost Hero characters, etc.). Please refrain from using the index categories, creating new categories without admin approval (they're red links), or adding unnecessary or inappropriate categories. (ex. Clarisse wouldn't be an antagonist, because she "does" fight for the Olympians). If you have any questions please contact an active Admin. You know how when a user first joins the site and the welcome template appears as well as the basic profile page stuff (the message saying "this is your profile," along with the picture space and the 3 favorite ages area). That isnt added by people (most of the time), that is added by the wiki bot. A wiki bot is like a program that reacts to certain things, like a user making their first edit. When that happens, the bot will add the welcome message and the profile stuff automatically as long as another user doesnt add the stuff first.
