Hello, with the Son of Neptune coming out tomorrow (at the time of this message), blogs involving guessing a characters parent or trying to predict events in the book will all become outdated. One or more of your blogs involves the mentioned topics and I was wondering if it would be OK to delete it in a effort to clean up the blogs. If you don't mind, simply send me a message or add a delete tag to any/all blogs you want deleted. Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 02:19, October 4, 2011 (UTC)

From what I know, this user founded the wiki. He was the first person to edit the Percy Jackson page and it says he made this wiki so I assume he founded it. As far as Asclepius goes, he isnt mentioned in the series as far as I know. Austin and Kayla were mentioned in the series and took part in the battle of Manhattan. Because they are mentioned in the series they get pages. Asclepius wasnt mentioned at all in the series and his existance doesnt effect the plots of the books in any way which is why people keep putting the delete tab up. Also, who is Vitallius? I dont remember seeing her name in the book anywhere, do you have a pag number or something? Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 20:04, October 10, 2011 (UTC)

I understand that "I am the Alpha and Omega" does refer to Christianity (I didnt like Catholic school), but the phrase itself is a reference to the fact that Alpha and Omega are the first and last letter of the Greek alphabet respectively. The beginning and end. Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 20:28, October 26, 2011 (UTC) I learn english at school. I'm actually currently thinking about making a german camp half-blood wiki but I'm not sure since there is already a percy jackson wiki and I'm not sure if I would be allowed make another one. I think i could get admin rights there but then it would not be a camp half-blood wiki. Besides, I don't think it would run well as you can harldy find a german wiki with many active users. Are there many grammar schools in Great Britain? MεηαrαDaughter of Hecate...in my imagination 16:41, October 30, 2011 (UTC)

Well, after elementary it depends on you grades whether you go to Haupschule (the worst), Realschule (middle) or Gymnasium (the best). So the pupils from Hauptschule and Realschule all say that the only thing we care about are our grades and exams. Conversely we say that all the only thing they care about are cigarettes and alcohol. In Germany there are MANY Gymnasia. There is one in almost every city. I mean, around 25 percent of all 15 year olds go to a Gymnasium. Do you have to pay school fees? MεηαrαDaughter of Hecate...in my imagination 20:09, October 30, 2011 (UTC)

Private schools aren't popular. I couldn't name a single one. No, we don't wear uniforms, although at some schools it is forbidden to wear trousers that don't cover the knee or t-shirts with spaghetti straps. Well, we think Brits are very gentle and polite, that they all drink tea at 17.00, (we know that's not true, but it's still funny), that they don't put enough salt in their food (Our priest even said that during our mass in school) and that there's a fish n' chips booth at every turn. And no, we don't think you are snobs. We don't really celebrate Halloween but some little children do. Then they say "Süßes oder Saures" which means "Sweet or Sour". Do you wear school uniforms? What do Brits think about Germany/germans? Are there many prejudices? MεηαrαDaughter of Hecate...in my imagination 09:20, November 1, 2011 (UTC) Do you learn French at school? I do. I can learn English, French, Spanish and Latin (originally Greek was also offered but then for a few years there were never enough students to make a class so it isn't selectable anymore) I took English first and then French and in 10th grade I'll probably drop French and take Spanish instead MεηαrαDaughter of Hecate...in my imagination 22:01, November 1, 2011 (UTC)

You learn German? How long since? What's you story about? MεηαrαDaughter of Hecate...in my imagination 20:05, November 2, 2011 (UTC)

Wow, I would never come up with such a story. I'm good in writing but only if I already have some kind of guideline, like in essays. Do you think learning German is difficult? More difficult than French? I often notice how many grammatical mistakes I make when I talk. But that's not just me but everyone. We make so many mistakes. If both our classes had to write a test, yours would be waaay better that my class. When I was in France my exchange student asked me to help her with her german homework and I couldn't really help her, cause in my ears, almost always more than one solution sounded correct. MεηαrαDaughter of Hecate...in my imagination 20:53, November 2, 2011 (UTC)

I've been there several times as my dad is a....how do I call this?...dealer in gems? (that's what my dictionary says). He buys gemstones and jewellry in Brasil, China and Thailand and sells it on various exhibitions and Christmas fairs in Germany and Europe. So there is a big annual exhibition in Stuttgart and I accompanied him there twice and helped him. Sadly I've never been in England but I really hope I can participate in the Winchester exchange next year. I'm glad you don't have any genders in english. I always confuse them in French and they only have two. Have you ever taken part in a school exchange? MεηαrαDaughter of Hecate...in my imagination 21:50, November 3, 2011 (UTC) Oh my god. I'm not complely sure about this cause. I'm not in grade where we can drop subjects yet. But I'm pretty sure it goes like this: In ninth greade we can decide whether we want to keep our one of our languages (French, english or latin) or replace it with Spanish in tenth grade. Then in tenth grade we decide about the subjects we want to keep for Abitur. We have to take one science subject (chemistry, biology or physics), one humanistic subject (geography or history), one social subject (social studys, politics or economis) and either Music or Art. The languages we chose in ninth greade are required now for Abitur, so we can't drop them. Religion, Sports, German and Maths are mandatory. Plus we can chose one additional subject (any of these, except the languages) if we haven't reached the minimus number of lessons per week. Plus there are different P- and W- seminars where we must chose one each time. I hope I didn't tell you something wrong but I can't help me with it. My brother (he's in 11th grade) is still asleep so I can't ask him. Is your school finished after GCSE or do you continue? I read GCSE is like a realschool graduation in germany, so it has to go on, doesn't it? Mεηαrα The one you least expect 08:59, November 6, 2011 (UTC)

Oh god, I really gave you some wrong information. You can chose between geography and economy and law. Social studys and history are mandatory. The rest was correct. My school makes a exchange with Winchester, Philadelphia, France (somewhere near Paris) and La Reunion. I really hope I can participate in Winchester or Philadelphia as La Reunion and Phil. always altenate. Did you enjoy you exchange? Was the family nice? There are a few that are considered as good like the TU in Munich, the Ruprich-Karls University in Heidelberg or the University Karlsruhe but the Universities are forbidden to decline students if there are still avaiable places (which is almost never the case, but still). It's not like in England or America. How old are you btw? I'm 14. You mean how you change your signature? Go to preferences and scroll down. Don't you know that already? I was also always interestet in different fonts. I know a bit how to write futhark. I even teached myself to write the elven script from Lord of the Rings as my brother liked to nose around in my stuff so I wanted to make sure he couldn't read some things and wrote them in Tengwar. Besides if found the elven script so beautiful. But thank god my brother doesn't do that anymore. Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 20:03, November 8, 2011 (UTC)

Wait, when did he say he would write the norse books? 2015? That will be my last year of school. One question about english grammar: When I talk about a person/animal and I don't know the gender, do I say he, it or she? In German, that's simple. If you talk about a person and you call it/her/him Person you would take die as person is female. And if you talk about an animal you take the animals name's gender Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 18:53, November 10, 2011 (UTC)

I haven't read it yet. In German, it comes out in 7 days and I already ordered it. Anyway I already read what happens on the Eragon wiki. I just can't resist spoilers :) Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 10:14, November 12, 2011 (UTC)

I loved Vampires Suck, one of the greatest parodies ever! At first, The Twilight Saga didn't bother me, nice books but nothing special, but all this unnecassary attention is getting annoying. I hate Edward Cullen and if Bella had a brain, she would have picked Jake. And you are not bugging! Murder on the Orient Express was great, I totally didn't expect that ending, but unfortunately it's the only Agatha Christie book I've read. I like Hercule Poirot and I have the series on DVDs actually. Mary! (talkcontribs) 11:17, November 12, 2011 (UTC)

That's a very good question. I do Latin at school, too and I see that for every word, I know the Modern English one. Well, the alphabet is pretty much the same, except Ancient Greeks wrote only with capital letters. Most Modern Greek words originate from Ancient Greek, that's why it's not too difficult for us to translate. Of course, as the years went by the language simplified. Ancient Greek has more complicated syntax, grammar, with irregular verb forms we have to learn by heart, participles, etc, etc.. Despite the fact Ancient Greek is not a "dead" language since all our words came from it, just like Latin, students either love it or hate it. I know kids who are amazing at translating and stuff and it takes a lot of work to reach that level. Modern Greek has words that have Turkish, Italian, French and English origins, too. I LOVE the Hunger Games. You should read them if you haven't yet. Here are soo many Hunger Games fans on this wiki. (Darkcloud, Dagostino, Maimer, Nort star....just to name a few) Did you like the trailer? I personally think it was awesome! Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 20:30, November 15, 2011 (UTC)

So the message ou left was this giant mass of unreadable code. What was your question? Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 17:55, November 18, 2011 (UTC)

I was the first one in my class who read the Hunger Games and gave it to a friend after she asked me if I knew them. She also loved it, so we gave it to a friend who usually never reads. She read it in two days and so alle the others took notice of it. I have currently a list of which girl will get the book next. (The boys in my class (except for maybe two or three) hate reading). I got Inheritance today! I'm reading it at the moment Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 10:22, November 19, 2011 (UTC)

His name is Fírnen. That would be a sweet ending but maybe too sweet? I'm not a big fan of endings where everything is perfect, so in my opinion there should be something sad to balance it. Maybe the death of Nasuada, Roran or Orik. And what about Angela's prophecy that Eragon will leave Alagaesia forever? Arya has also always been my first choice for the new dragon rider but I always had doubts because Paolini once said that the identity of the new rider will be a surprise and Arya really wouldn't be a big surprise. My second choices have always been Bloethgarm or Vanir. They're both awesome. Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 16:06, November 19, 2011 (UTC)

Nope, I don't know if his name means anything but I don't think so as Saphira's and Glaedr's name also don't have a meaning. I've also never read Mortal Engines or Artemis Foul (my brother did, though). Random question: If you were a rider, what colour and gender would you like your dragon to have? Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 17:02, November 19, 2011 (UTC)

Nice. I haven't read or seen the book/movie. I would like to have a female dragon with dark blue and purple scales. I would probably give her the name of a greek goddess. Maybe Asteria or Hecate. Can you imagine an orange or yellow dragon? I actually can't. I think that would probably look ridiculus. Have you read Bartimaeus by Jonathan Stroud? Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 17:12, November 19, 2011 (UTC)

Silver woud have been my second choice. A silver dragon would just look awesome! Silvery white would be best. Vraels dragon was white. And the dragon of the first Eragon too, I think Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 17:56, November 19, 2011 (UTC)

Yep, it's rechts and links. I haven't read these books but I think my brother has them somewhere in his room. Gotta ask him if he still has them or if he has sold them. It would be hard to make a surprise attack with a silver or white dragon. You would see him immediatly and as we saw in the first book, dragon don't like to be camouflaged with mud. But I think a silver dragon would look very sublime and awe-inspiring. And the blood would also be seen immediatly Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 11:21, November 20, 2011 (UTC)

My brother always tried to convince me to read Artemis Fowl but I never did. I think I should read them now. What do you think about angela? Do you think she's human? I personally think she might be the or one of the last descendants of the Grey folk. Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 11:37, November 20, 2011 (UTC)

Solembum is cool! I'm curious because Arya calls Angela 'wise one'. The Grey Folk were the ones who connected the ancient language with magic. Because of this enormous change in the nature of magic, the energy toll was great, and the Grey Folk were consequently diminished as a people. Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 11:57, November 20, 2011 (UTC)

Or she was the former Queen or something like that from the grey folk and survived. But then she must be very very old. Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 12:03, November 20, 2011 (UTC)

She did. But Oromis said she visited Ellesmera hundreds of years ago and I don't think her herbs would make her immortal. Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 12:08, November 20, 2011 (UTC)

So the word order was right? When I was in Italy my exchange student asked me to find the mistake in her homework (her teacher said there was a mistake but she couldn't find it) and I honestly couldn't see any mistake! It sounded perfectly fine to me. Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 19:09, November 20, 2011 (UTC)

I loved Maths last year since the teacher was awesome! (He even studied in Harvard for one semester). But this year we have a terrible teacher. I hate her so much. She can't explain and when we dont understand something she gets impatient and says if we don't understand that we're possibly just too dumb and should not be in Gymnasium but in Hauptschule! We even considered to go to the principal but we decided not to go since if we did she would probably hate us even more (and especially me since I would have been the one to go as I am the class representative) Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 19:25, November 20, 2011 (UTC)

In my city, there is the Gymnasium, the Realschule and the Hauptschule next to each other (Maybe 100 meters from one to another) and the Realschule is only for Girls. Okay, I have to say it's different than in a grammar school as the girls who go there are either a) not smart enough or b) don't care about school, so many of them start drinking alcohole and smoking cigaretts (and various "other things") when they're in 7th or 8th grade. I would never want to go there voluntary (and that's not because of all the drinking and stuff). I would just miss the boys and there would be way to many catfights. In my opinion, they boys kind of "balance" all this. Btw, this is the code for the camper user box: {{Template:User camper}} Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 19:57, November 21, 2011 (UTC)

Hey! Feel free to add me to your friend list. Can I do the same? So, I don't remember if I mentioned this alredy, but (what the hell) I do have Latin at school. Not everyone does, though. It depends on the kind of university you're planning to go. For example, I picked theoretical subjects, like extra Ancient Greek, Latin, History and Literature, because I wanna study English Lit. Others who wanna become doctors or anything science related, have extra and more complex classes of Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.. Ancient Greek is not optional. Everybody knows, at least basic Ancient Greek. We are learning Ancient Greek for 6 years. Our school system is kind of tricky.. Anyway, Harry Potter. I read several articles about the Ancient Greek version a few years ago. It does exist, but it's only the first novel. Even the title in Ancient Greek is hilarious (to me, anyway)! It's a weird thing to do, but I think I read they use the book in universities in England! I could be wrong here, but I think that's what the article stated. The Ranger's Apprentice is a Australian book series. Can't you order it online like on Amazon? The Liberation of Gabriel King is a great book. There's some inappropriate language and it's about two kids in America and one of them is white and the other is black and they work together to overcome their fears. It's nice but you have to be careful about the inappropriate words.PercyJacksonfan12 (talkcontribs) 23:52, December 7, 2011 (UTC)PercyJacksonfan12

No I haven't. Noone knows that I'm on this wiki. Not even my parents :P Is Max your boyfriend or just a friend? About the celebrations, I don't know. I think there will be something special butwe haven't planned anything yet. Besides, it will talke about a year until we get 1,000 pages since we have to wait until the Mark of Athena comes out and maybe not even then. It depends on how many new characters will be introduced. So maybe we even have to wait for the 4th book. That would be a little to early to plan anything Mεηαrα ~ The one you least expect 17:09, December 18, 2011 (UTC)

Hey, we haven't talked in a while. How are you? Mεηαrα~ The one you least expect 19:58, May 1, 2012 (UTC)

Hey! It's great to hear from you after all this time. I'm sorry to hear what happened this past year but I think my pity is the last thing you need right now. I have a good friend who went through similar things lately and she's always felt that way. About my life...I'm happy. No big family tragedies or things like that. Tough, lately I feel like something bad is going to happen soon since my life cannot stay that perfect forever. When I've finished my Abitur, I want to go to New Zealand for a year (or at least half a year) and work in a hotel or do a voluntary social year. Then I want to study either psychology or hospitality and tourism management. Although I could also imagine becoming both an educational psychologist and teacher (two in one basically). Btw, have you read Inheritance yet? Mεηαrα~ The one you least expect 21:27, September 15, 2012 (UTC)

When you do a voluntary social year (FSJ in german) you go to another country for a about year (mostly developing countries but you can pretty much do it in any country you wish) and work in a social area like my cousin who went to Ghana to work as an elementary teacher or my other cousin who went to Costa Rica to help in a orphanagea and do stuff with the kids. The difference from just going to a country and looking for social work is that the FSJs are organized by special organizations that pay pretty much everything everything (you even get an allowance for food) and provide a lodging or a host family in return for you working for them. I personally think it's a great thing and a good oppurnity to spend time in another country and live in another culture without having to spend thousands of Euros.

Inheritance is very good, yeah. We you used to talk about it, remember?

The toughest book (in this case, book series) I've read (actually, I'm still reading it at the moment) is A song of Ice and Fire (the TV series is called Game Of Thrones) by George R.R. Martin. Maybe you've heard of it. It's pretty popular, especially since the TV series came out (which is awesome, btw). I'm currently reading the 3rd book, A Storm of Swords and I just LOVE it. It's sometimes just pretty hard to read since there are all those complicated intrigues and power struggles, which means if I miss some hint or there's something I didn't quite understand, everything can get really confusing. So praise my (online) dictionary *cough*and the Wiki of Ice and Fire*cough*, it has saved my life countless times. But I would love to hear about the books you could recommend me. I also have a few other books that I need to read after a Storm of Swords, but if yours sound interesting... well, let's see xD Mεηαrα~ The one you least expect 23:23, September 28, 2012 (UTC)

Hey, I'm great, thanks :) Your friend really is like me. I first saw Richard Armitage in the movie version of North and South and then of course, he plays Thorin in the Hobbit movie, which combines my favorite actor with my favorite character of one of my favorite books. I can understand why your friend likes the audiobooks he reads ... that voice...have you heard him speak? But enough with Richard Armitage. Yes, I am reading A Song of Ice and Fire in english. The main reason for doing so is because every english SoIaF book was split up into two german books and every german book costs twice as much as the english one. And I don't understan why I should pay four times the price that I would pay for an english one just so I can read it in german ... and as a side effect, it's improving my english :P

And no, I'm afraid I haven't read any of these books. I don't think I've read more than 2 crime novels in my entire life but I will definetly consider these books you recommended. It's time for me to start reading something else, other than fantasy or historic novels. But if I do, it won't be any time soon since I have a list of books (21 books in total) that I want to read before buying new ones. This is some kind of project of mine since I found out that I spend way too much money buying books while I still have some at home that I haven't yet read. So yeah, I'm determined not to buy any new books until I've read at least three-quarters of those. But now I have to go to bed. Bye Mεηαrα~ The one you least expect 23:35, February 22, 2013 (UTC)

Hi, you seem really cool and you said you've read a lot of books. I was just wondering if you've read Harry Potter; I love Harry Potter!!

P.S I live in England too; hate the weather  -_-  Albus Chase ~Son Of Wisdom 00:03, February 23, 2013 (UTC)

Return High Five! *High fives Nattie*  Yeah there aren't many people around here that are from Britain. Probably because it's an American series. I live in north-west London. I really want to travel though. When did you start reading Percy Jackson? I read the first book when I saw the movie trailer (I was really disappointed with the movie).

I LOVE SNOW! (Just thought I'd put that in :D)

P.S I'm a Gryffindor (Ravenclaw is my second favourite house though) and I have the Elder Wand :) Do you have a Pottermore account? Albus Chase ~Son Of Wisdom 18:30, February 24, 2013 (UTC)

I also LOVE CSI:NY!! Who are your favourite characters? I like Danny and Lindsay. And their daughter, Lucy. :D Albus Chase ~Son Of Wisdom 18:40, February 24, 2013 (UTC)

I haven't seen Lewis but it looks interesting. To be honest, CSI:NY is the only drama I watch; I usually watch shows such as Charmed, The Big Bang Theory and How I Met your Mother :) Albus Chase ~Son Of Wisdom 16:30, March 3, 2013 (UTC)

Wow, that book-swapping site is just AWESOME. I'd do anything to have something like that in Germany. And no, I don't get all the british idioms but in about half of the times they're self-explaining or there are similar ones in german. Out of pocket was a little bit of both so I understood it without of looking it up. But if I don't understand or know them I generally don't look them up since looking up idioms or expressions takes just too much time. Besides, most of the time, the context gives you an idea about what the idiom or word means. And if I really don't have any idea what the sentence is about and it seems to be an important one, I look it up (I usually have my mobile with my online dictionary lying next to me). We have a holiday called "Faschingsferien" that is usually sometimes in mid-february. Besides that, we have two weeks of holiday in december/january, april and june, 6 weeks in august/september and one week in october. So we have 6 holidays alltogether.

Just out of curiosity, do you have any exchange programms at your school?Mεηαrα~ The one you least expect 20:54, March 9, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah The Big Bang Theory is awesome, but nothing will beat F.R.I.E.N.D.S. It's my all time favourite show! Albus Chase ~Son Of Wisdom 14:55, March 15, 2013 (UTC)
