Partnership Edit

Balihotic Pve, I have a partnership worked out with MortalNet that I wanted to let you know about so that when it went live you weren't thrown off. They have been having a lot of requests in their forum for a wiki, so they're going to post a link to our wiki, and in return I'm going to put a link on the left navigation that says "MortalNet Forum" which will take users directly to their forum. It's a trial thing for a month to see if it works for both sites. In January we're going to see if it's working or if there are changes we need to make. Hey, Balistic, you might or might not remember me. Anyways, it's me The avatar from Suite Life wiki. I am a percy Jackson fan, and stopped by here. I thought it was a little strange how that fan forums are in the side bar. Maybe we could have a single page, where all of them are listed, alphabetically. Hello Balistic Pve, Edit

Hey, Im Pbre and I am requesting a position on this Wiki. I am a great contributor and have mad/fixed over 50 pages. I understand if you do not want to make me an Admin or anything high like a beaurucrat, but I would like to be a part of the Spam Attack Team (Im sorry I forget the name) Because I have spam and people who edit information that is incorect. I know how to get more users and get some anony. people to become members because I am friends with at least 5 of them who said they just dont want to make an account. I also am an Admin of another wiki so I know how to work a Wiki and keep it Alive. Plus you will need another admin as of friday whether you like it or not when the movie comes out the people on this site will double and you and the other admins will not be able to handle it all on your own. Especially all the updates after the movie and all the new blogs about it... You will need help.... FYI I have been here for a while and I am not like some people who havnt read the whole series. Hey dude, This new user "Skeep81" has been sending or editing something on all of the people on the Wiki's userpages.... Idk what she/he is really doing but if you check what like is going on now (MY HOME... Not sure how to put that u know...) all you see is her/his thing. She/he just made her account and she has almost 200 edits... She had like 10 an hour ago. She only has a few real edits not like fake ones like she/he is doing now.

Hey, I was just wondering how/ if we can hold a community "Request for Adminship" page. I know of at least 3 people who want to become admins and have a lot of posts although not many know how. (I am one of those ppl) I have seen on other Wiki's that they make a blog that has a set of rules (Ask me and I can send you the rules) in which a person gets nominated for the adminship and all the users vote and give a reason why the user should or shouldnt become and admin. If the Person receives enough positive comments then you, the Admin decide if the person is worthy... and if they are... they become an admin....

The person who is nominated must have at least 300 posts and been here for at least a month...

The person has to have positive comment and cannot be hostile towards other registered users...

Hello, As you know me and Inferuno havent... been friends since he joined... Im not on this wiki 24/7 and when I come back to my blog all I c is him HARRASSING my friends/ppl talking on my blog. One of the users happens to be 9 and he is using the F word.... He has used it a couple of times and say a lot of other things that I dont want to repeat. Check the blog for yourself. I would usually just hide all these but since this guy is a user and he is giving everyone so much grief, i decided to bring it to your attention. Commenting to say that I was part of the "CJ drama" and even though you're probably smart enough not to he did nothing wrong and they're pretty much just paranoid kids. Also, is there any possibility in banhammering kids who come out and admits they're below COPPA? Perhaps if they're just really immature? Obviously if they're not bothering anyone don't, but COPPA is in place for a reason and there are a lot of people here freely breaking the law when it's obvious from their behavior that it was put in place for people like them. Half-Blood AnnouncementEdit

What's going on?
Hey! Are you feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the new changes going on here at the wiki? Well, here allow me to explain it step by step!

• First, there are new Forums. Mainly, there's an Admin's Noticeboard and a Consensus. At the first, you notify the admins or request a admin-only task. At the second, you make and vote on new proposals for the wiki. Make sure you meet the requirements, though!

• Next, there are tons of new policies, you don't have to read them all now but they're all right here, in case you want to take a peek later on.

• Third, we now have an IRC Channel! #wikia-halfblood on freenode. No idea what that means? Well go here to find out and to know some rules of the channel.

• Fourth, we now have Awards!

• Fifth, we also have a Disputes Committee to deal with any "disputes" you may have.

• Lastly, we now have Wiki Cabins. What's that? Well, they're like the Cabins at Camp Half-blood. Each Cabin has a job to do, and is headed by a counselor elected for half a year. But, you have to apply to join, don't worry it's not hard. We just make sure that we have the right people in each cabin, rather than some newer users who might still be getting used to the wiki. You can join the Apollo, Ares, Demeter, and Hermes Cabin here. And yes, you can be part of as many cabins as you want!

Alright, it's about time, we try this again. Last time, we had some troubles. This time our community has grown and is still growing. So, it's time we coordinate.

On August 2nd from 1 PM (East Coast), we will be having an IRC Meeting. Here's a list of what we'll be going through:

• More Admins
• Wiki Cabins
• Some Key New Policies
• General Chit-chat
• Any Other Proposals you might have

As last time, the point of the entire thing, is for us all to get on IRC and chat over the wiki. Here are local times:

Question about pictures Edit

Hello, I am new to wikis in general, but I like Percy Jackson and everything that has to do with Greek Mythology. I am currently doing research to make sure that the information I put up is accurate. I have a question about the pictures. Some of the characters don't have pictures for their infoboxes. If I found a pic that would apply to, how do I go about submitting it? Do I just put it up? If I just put it up and it is determined that it's not relevant then does someone else take it down or does someone ask me to take it down? Serious Vandalism Edit

A wikia contributor has vandalised the Percy Jackson article. He wrote things like Grover having a big dick and Percy being expelled by ever big penis...... etc. I've dealt with the vandalism and corrected the contributor's bad edit.

I was wondering if you ever check the requests for rollback or adminship, and if you haven't in a while, it would be great if you would review the request. I've requested both, as I meet the requirements and could use them both. I could really help this wiki more if I had them. Secondly, there is a new user who is abusing edits just to rank up and get badges. I’ve warned him, but maybe if I became an admin, they might listen to me. Their rapid advancement up the ranks includes tactics such as adding a space, or categories that don't apply. I was once new to this wiki and know how easy it is to get caught up in the whole earning badges thing. Luckily SayuriDarling stepped in and reminded me to keep to the high standards of the wiki: D If it's possible, the new user could be possibly demoted in rank and placed on probation. He’s not trying to vandalize, so I don’t think the punishment requires banning. Thank Its been 2 months since I requested Rollback and Admin Rights.
