This is pissing me off that off the bat information is wrong and here I come in 2012 correcting you on Percy's Birthday which is 1996, not 1993. He's not 19 years old. Whoever's in charge here, I think you should make this page public, so we can correct it and all. 108.52.1.218 22:09, September 13, 2012 (UTC)

This information is not wrong. You seem to forget that there is a time difference our time and book time. TLT was published in 2005 and Percy is 12 years old. What is 2005-12? 1993. SoM he is 13 turning 14. TTC takes place the same year as SoM so he is still 14. TBL takes place when he is 14 turning 15. TLO he turns 16. The Lost Hero he is still 16 as it's the same year and then in SoN he is still 16 because the summer is not yet over. Also, this is a high vandalism page meaning that usually WC or anon's like to destroy this page. Make an account and you won't have this problem with not being able to edit.

can someone redo the power part Edit

there is somepowers listed two times like When Percy is in water, he and objects he touches stay dry unless he wills them not to be. and When Percy is underwater, he stays dry unless he consciously forces himself to become wet. When Percy touches objects

Those are two different things. --[[<span style="color:#F908F1"><font size=4><span style="font-family:Gigi">♡ Seddie ♡ Criffin ♡ Bori ♡ Cabbie ♡ Jandre ♡ Brittana ♡ Klaine ♡ St. Berry ♡</span></font></span>]] (talkcontribs) 02:08, January 9, 2013 (UTC)

BirthdayEdit

If The Lighting Thief takes place in 2005, (the year it was published) then Percy's birthday should be August 18, 1992, not 1993. Percy is about to turn 13 at the end of The Lightning Thief (the book ends at the end of camp, Percy's birthday is right after camp ends.) He would turn 13 on August 18, 2005. So, thru subtraction, he is really born on August 18, 1992, not 1993. Frodo the 9 fingered (talkcontribs) 12:41, August 12, 2012 (UTC)Frodo the 9 fingered.

The Mist could change the publishing dates. And I have solid evidence for 1993. In Titan's Curse, Chiron says December 21 is Friday. Check the 2007 calendar, you'll see December 21 is Friday. 2007-14=1993Otepralloma5 (talkcontribs) 05:14, November 19, 2012 (UTC)

Considering that there will continue to be a huge argument on which year for now we'll just say August 18 until RR or an official source wants to make it official. SayuriDarling ~ And she tried to survive living her life on her own. 05:49, November 19, 2012 (UTC)

The Demigod Files + Demigod DiariesEdit

He has no section for The Demigod Files, lol. I just noticed that. Do you think we should add it or put it on a seperate page so it doesn't get too long? Same thing for for Diaries about making it a seperate page. SayuriDarling ~ Certain as the sun, rising in the east. 20:18, August 15, 2012 (UTC)

No matter how you look at it, his page is always going to be long. Maybe instead of having the collapsible tabs for books, we should have it for series instead with one Master Show/Hide option. Also, how does he not have a Demigod Files section? Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 20:34, August 15, 2012 (UTC)
I'm guessing it was never added for some odd reason. I still wish we could make the page shorter. I was thinking about possible moving all the relationship's to another page because those do take up a huge chunk. Or the ability section. Also, I agree that it should be for each series... Although, it'll be a lot of scrolling to get it book by book. SayuriDarling ~ Certain as the sun, rising in the east. 20:40, August 15, 2012 (UTC)
I saw something that could help the relationship section and the abilities section on another wiki, but no one else seemed to like the idea. Here is a link to what I saw. As far as moving the relationship section to another page like we did with the Gods/Giants/and Titans, I'm all for it. Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 20:45, August 15, 2012 (UTC)
Actually, that looks cool. The thing is how would we find a way to distribute the abilities to each page evenly and by category... I think we could easily do that with the relationship section, but both will still make the page a long ass annoying page. SayuriDarling ~ Certain as the sun, rising in the east. 20:49, August 15, 2012 (UTC)
Well as far as abilities, we could combine the Weapons and Abilities section. Have tabs like Natural Abilities (things like ADHD, Dyslexia, Dreams), Demigod Abilities, Weapons, Magical Items. And we could just move the entire relationship page to another page, or do the tab thing and split them up like Love Interest, Family, Friends, Pets. Make the headings the tabs, however I'm not familiar with how it works so I don't know if headings will still appear on the Context box, but if they do we can just Bold up names and make them larger. Addition to the infoEdit

Can someone add to the info of Percy (under the photo where is cited saviour of Olympus etc)that he's counselor of the cabin 3?Maria.oglou

Sure. --[[<span style="color:#F908F1"><font size=4><span style="font-family:Gigi">♡ Seddie ♡ Criffin ♡ Bori ♡ Cabbie ♡ Jandre ♡ Brittana ♡ Klaine ♡ St. Berry ♡</span></font></span>]] (talkcontribs) 02:12, January 9, 2013 (UTC)

For some reason the character info box will only fit in three titles. Any idea why that is? OwlKind17 (talkcontribs) 00:22, January 15, 2013 (UTC)

ProblemEdit

There is a problem with the picture, you first see it and then you see just black space and down you see the information...someone fix it? ~~maria.oglou ~~

Concern regarding the statement that Percy is the only demigod child of the Big Three not to have his age changed

I don't believe this is true, as in the Lightning Theif Percy visits the lotus casino and loses a few days, the same thing that happened to Nico and Bianca. Also, when did Jason Grace's age change75.68.43.96 01:37, October 18, 2012 (UTC)???????
You are right about the Lotus Hotel part. His age may have changed again when Hera put him to sleep, however as far as the Jason thing, Jason is a son of Jupiter, not Zeus. Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 01:45, October 18, 2012 (UTC)

Is Percy younger or older than Jason ???Kronos300 (talkcontribs) 10:21, October 23, 2012 (UTC)

Older. Jason just turned 16 durint The Mark of Athena, while Percy is about a month and a half away from turning 17. Jason is actually one of the youngest of the seven, except for Hazel and maybe Leo. Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 10:32, October 23, 2012 (UTC)                                                      has anyone noticed that we should change the name to persus jackson A.K.A.percy i mean his real name is persus jackson39clues1 (talkcontribs) 23:39, April 12, 2013 (UTC)39clues1

White streak Edit

In the appearance section it is written that Percy got gray streak in his hair cause of holding the sky in The Titans Curse.

Someone should change that, cause in Mark of Athena it is stated that the streak disappeared after all the years that passed.

16:58, October 30, 2012 (UTC)

No, it said in The Son of Neptune that it disappeared when he went through the Little Tiber.

The grey streak is not mentioned at any point after The Titan's Curse until The Mark of Athena. Annabeth specifically mentions that by that time, it had grown out of their hair. It had nothing to do with the Tiber River. The only thing that vanished was his Curse of Achilles. Darkcloud1111 Umbreon1111Fastest Hero Alive 02:08, March 5, 2013 (UTC)

Spelling/Grammar Mistakes Edit

There are several spelling/grammar errors I can't change on this page because of it being locked. How can I edit it? OwlKind17 (talkcontribs) 23:01, December 10, 2012 (UTC)

Right now, it is locked so that only administrators may edit it. You can report to an administrator what changes you would like to be made. Atelda 23:12, December 10, 2012 (UTC)
The section about Luke Castellan has a sentence about Poseidon telling Percy that Luke isn't dead that says "...Percy is told to his father". It should be changed to "...Percy is told by his father". Thanks, OwlKind17 (talkcontribs) 02:57, December 12, 2012 (UTC)

New Item Article? Edit

Shouldn't there be a page about Percy's panda pillow pet from The Son of Neptune? What are the requirements for an item/character/location to have its/their own article? Thanks, OwlKind17 (talkcontribs) 00:48, December 14, 2012 (UTC)

The pillow pet in my opinion was just kind of a joke. I mean Percy had an entire bag full of stuff, but it isn't like we are going to make a page for all the things he mentioned. As far as requirements go, as long as the page is related to the series in some way, it is normally allowed. However, if a page has barely enough information to be called a page, it may be deleted from lack of information. If you really want to add it somewhere, I would just add it to the "Item" section of Percy's page. Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 00:54, December 14, 2012 (UTC)

The Calypso part - love interests Edit

Jaehonghwang (talkcontribs) 13:15, December 16, 2012 (UTC)jaehonghwang

The Calypso part in 'love interests' states that the fates sent Percy to the island because they're cruel.

But at the end of Battle of the Labyrinth, Hera clearly states that she sent Percy there.

Someone edit this

Yes, but maybe the point is that Hera sent Percy there but the Fates made the fact possible.Maria.oglou (talkcontribs) 06:44, December 17, 2012 (UTC)

Hera had a reason to send Percy there. She hates Annabeth, so she sent Percy there so he would hopefuly stay there and fall in love with Calypso. So, the Fates being crule would love to send Percy there just to make Annabeth's and Calypso's life worse. Jadejones (talkcontribs) 18:04, December 17, 2012 (UTC)

i've never understood that godess...how they would win the war then, huh? And then she says he's the glue but let's make his life even more difficult than already is!! I never liked her and i never liked her son!! Maria.oglou (talkcontribs)Maria.oglou (talkcontribs) 06:53, December 18, 2012 (UTC)

The Mark of Athena made Percy look kinda weak? Edit

Well in my personal opinion The Mark of Athena is the worst we've seen of Percy's fighting skills but some of the best of what we've seen of his thinking skills. First he was defeated by Chrysaor in sword combat which we rarely see of Percy getting defeated in a sword battle. Second, Now RR's come up with this bogus fear of drowning thing and now Percy's afraid of his own element. Like Dark once told me Yes Percy can't always have the best moments but to me It just looks like RR did this all on purpose. Kid Neptune ~~ Got My lil Pikachu here 02:07, January 8, 2013 (UTC)

You have to consider however that they are in the original Sea of Monsters. The reason that area is off-limits is because the monsters are stronger in the homeland of the gods. While demigods like Percy or Jason may be strong when facing the watered down versions of monsters, they are in serious danger when facing more powerful foes. As far as the drowning thing, he did get over it by the end of the book and in a way it is logical. During The Son of Neptune, Ella spoke a prophecy about how a son of Neptune would drown and because he was in a land beyond the gods, he wasn't sure if the water would obey him (so he wasn't sure if his powers would prevent him from drowning). Then he fell into that muddy sink hole and for the first time he knows what drowning is like, that moment of not being able to breath. Percy now has to face a fear that he has never had to worry about before and he isn't sure how to handle it, resulting in him fearing any form of drowning by reflex. Sort of like if you had on a helmet, you would still duck if someone tossed something at your head. Percy manages to overcome his fear when he thinks, but he was scared by reflex earlier on. Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 02:51, January 8, 2013 (UTC)
I would like to quote Piper - "Being a hero doesn't mean you're invincible, it just means you're brave enough to stand up and do what's needed". But yeah got to admit that Percy's facing a bad fate. And the worst part is that fighting other sea gods has always been Percy's Achilles Heel. Maybe because he doesn't know how to control the aquatic life-force. But I think the Tartarus experience could give him the strength to face his shortcomings. Best of luck Percy.Kronos300 (talkcontribs) 12:25, January 8, 2013 (UTC)

Yes I'm thinking the same thing concerning the Tartarus situation. This situation might harden Percy to a whole new level. Plus he might improve his fighting skills while fighting his way out of Tartarus. I think what Dark said is true because the monsters they face in The United States are weaker versions of what they are facing in The original Sea of Monsters I had totally forgotten that. I am in love with this guy. xD <333 --[[<span style="color:#F908F1"><font size=4><span style="font-family:Gigi">♡ Seddie ♡ Criffin ♡ Bori ♡ Cabbie ♡ Jandre ♡ Brittana ♡ Klaine ♡ St. Berry ♡</span></font></span>]] (talkcontribs) 02:07, January 9, 2013 (UTC)

The thing is if Percy returns from Tartarus, he will be the greatest and the most powerful god -err- I mean demigod. Nobody, not even the Olympians would dare challenge him cause he would have done something not even the gods would dare to do. So that would make Percy some sort of equal to the Giants or something and that can seriously threaten Gaia's plan. Except all this would stink if Percy got manipulated by Gaia to destroy Olympus or something. Kronos300 (talkcontribs) 08:28, January 13, 2013 (UTC)

Red Links Edit

When Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn are mentioned in the Mark of Athena summary, the names show up red because they were linked to a non-existent page. Should new pages be created or should the link formatting be removed? OwlKind17 (talkcontribs) 20:36, January 22, 2013 (UTC)

The Lost Hero In the Lost Hero Percy is not seen, except a photo in Chirons office. Other than that he is only mentioned a few times in the book. Does this count as an appearance, and should he be mentioned for that in this page?

InfoboxEdit

I got rid of Antaeus as being Percy's half-brother on Percy's infobox because I think he isn't in the series enough to be on the infobox. I mean, he was only ever in Battle of the Labyrinth. Albus Chase ~Son Of Wisdom 13:50, February 22, 2013 (UTC)

Collapse/ExpandEdit

When did we change the collpase thing? I think it was better before than it was before... SayuriDarling ~ And she tried to survive living her life on her own. 01:26, March 19, 2013 (UTC)

That was me. I don't know if you noticed but every time the page was edited, a new line would be added to the areas with the Show/Hide feature. I went onto Community Central to see if there was a problem with our code or if it could be fixed. One of the Admins told me they didn't know why that was happening, but did confirm that the code we were using was out-dated and that the system wikia is on now actually has a Show/Hide feature built in (as long as you enter the correct code). So I changed it in hopes of correcting the problem and so far it seems to be working, at least I think it is as there haven't been many edits to check to see if it is working. Darkcloud1111 Umbreon1111Fastest Hero Alive 01:38, March 19, 2013 (UTC)
Anyway, I changed the code back for the most part (now it uses class="mw-collapsible" instead of class="collapsible", whatever that means). However, we still seem to be having the same problem. One of the Admins on Community Central is going to run a test or two and see if they can replicate it on a Test Wiki so hopefully we will figure out what is wrong. Still looks ugly.... But okay. SayuriDarling ~ And she tried to survive living her life on her own. 03:23, March 19, 2013 (UTC)

The Styx PartEdit

In the trivia section, it says that the Styx is the only river Percy cannot control, but moments after he takes a bath, he causes the Styx to explode against Hades's forces. Can someone redo that part?122.167.43.167 12:47, April 24, 2013 (UTC)

Short StoriesEdit

Why are none of the short stories such as The Demigod Diaries, or Demigod files on here? SayuriDarling ~ “But a mermaid has no tears, and therefore she suffers so much more.” 00:46, May 8, 2013 (UTC)

Well you see...RUN AWAY! *RUNS AWAY*
*Runs back* But anyway, it might be because a lot of the companion stories take place outside the normal series and so placing a heading would seem weird with the other headings. It might be because a lot of the events from the companion book are described in other areas of the site and article. It could just be because no one ever added it. I don't think this is the first time someone had mentioned it either. Darkcloud1111 Umbreon1111Fastest Hero Alive 01:01, May 8, 2013 (UTC)

Eye of Horus Symbol Edit

Ummm, under Percy Jackson's abilities, the "eye of horus" is mentioned. It states this is on his palm and he can only use it once to contact Carter Kane from the Kane Chronicles, another series by Rick Riordan. When does this happen? I think it's spam, could someone remove it?

77.4.91.108 12:05, May 14, 2013 (UTC)

It's from the new short novel, The Son of Sobek, where Carter meets Percy. It's in the back of the paperback version of The Serpent's Shadow. SayuriDarling ~ “But a mermaid has no tears, and therefore she suffers so much more.” 12:10, May 14, 2013 (UTC)
