Thalia's pine tree is what creates the boundary of camp half blood. IF the tree dies then monsters and all will start invading the camp. So as long as the tree is alive then camp half blood will be safely protected. It says so in the sea of monsters.

In the books, they talk about how Thalia's Pine Tree makes the borders stronger. I don't think the tree is what generates the Camp Borders and it is always there, just without Thalia's Pine Tree, it can't hold back stronger monsters. Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 05:37, January 20, 2013 (UTC)

Rachel is not the only mortal to enter Camp Halfblood. Ms Castellan also entered Camp Halfblood. So in the trivia why does it say that Rachel is the only one.
