The Queen Anne's Revenge was a ship that was captained by Blackbeard, a son of Ares. It was used by Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase to arrive at Polyphemus' Island though the ship was destroyed by Polyphemus.

HistoryEdit

Queen Anne's Revenge was originally owned by Blackbeard. He used it to sail through the ocean, plundering towns and fighting the Royal Navy along the way. He used it for less than a year, obviously because he eventually took it through the Sea of Monsters into Circe's island, where he and his crew were turned into guinea pigs, leaving the ship abandoned.

The Sea of MonstersEdit

Percy and Annabeth went to Circe's island by accident after the CSS Birmingham, the skeleton-filled ship serving Clarisse, exploded. Annabeth then unintentionally turned Blackbeard and his crew back to human form using Hermes' multivitamins while trying to save Percy, who was turned into a guinea pig by Circe. They stole the ship from Blackbeard, using Percy's abilities as the son of Poseidon, they sailed through the Sea of Monsters. It was destroyed when Polyphemus threw a massive rock at it near the end, after Percy, Annabeth, Tyson, Grover, and Clarisse tried to make it on board, but Clarisse kept taunting and goading Polyphemus, though Percy tried to tell her to keep quiet. This allowed the near blind Polyphemus to pinpoint their location and destroy the ship with a huge boulder.
