Meriwether College Prep is a school located in downtown Manhattan. It is Percy Jackson seventh grade school. It is said to be a "progressive school," and as Percy described it, "We sit on beanbag chairs instead of at desks, we don't get grades, and the teachers wear jeans and rock concert T-shirts to work."
