Harriet Tubman (born Araminta Ross; c. 1820 or 1821 – March 10, 1913) was an African-American abolitionist, humanitarian, and Union spy during the American Civil War, and was a famous demigod daughter of Hermes.
Harriet Tubman was a very important conductor of the Underground Railroad. However, the Underground Railroad wasn't a railroad at all, but a chain of Union supporters that housed and hid escaped slaves. Conductors were people that helped guide the slaves up to the Northern states to freedom.
