Many Castle fans already view Nathan Fillion as a Greek god. And last summer during his hiatus, Fillion traveled to Vancouver to play Zeus's son Hermes in the sequel Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (in theaters August 16). "I'm a god, father to one of the young demigods [half-blood Luke]," says Fillion. "I'm not allowed contact with humans as a god, so I dress as a UPS guy." Hermes, as you may recall, is the messenger of the gods.
In one scene, Hermes dons a suit and takes a group of child demigods on a long tour of his colossal parcel-sorting hub. "The three young actors restored my faith in humanity of what Los Angeles actors can be like," Fillion says. "They were having fun — supercool, prepared and professional. A very comfortable, great pl…

So lately I've noticed that a lot of talk for this movie if kind of being filtered into The House of Hades blog and The Mark of Athena blog. So with the movie coming out in about 5 months, I figured now would be the time to make this blog. While this page will be updated as more information is released, please check the actual Movie Page for more information.
The main goal is to discuss the movie, news leading up to the movie, and any information that is released (like pictures, trailers, interviews, posters). So:
- If you find something about the movie, post it.
- If you want to talk about the cast, post it.
- If you want to talk about the movie itself when it is released, post it.
- And if you have theories about the movie, like if it will be any closer …

Hey everyone. It's Warden here. We all know that Rick Riordan is planning to make a series about Norse Mythology soon (he is probably working on it right now, since he has finished the Kane Chronicles). So this is just about things he will include in the series, along with a possible storyline. Enjoy, and please leave comments.
- 1 The Gods of Asgard
- 2 Vikings Are Heroes
- 3 Location Of Viking Camp
- 4 How The Viking Camp Operates
- 5 Magical And Unmagical Transportation
- 6 The Nine Realms
- 7 Monsters And Magical Creatures
- 8 Ragnarok
- 9 Possible Connections To PJO, HoO, and KC
- 10 Farewell
Of course, it wouldn't be a Rick Riordan book if there weren't any gods in it. The main/important gods in Norse Mythology are Odin, Thor, and Freya, so we can truly expect to see them. Oth…

Hey everyone, IceFireWarden14 here. But you can call me Ice, Warden, or Supreme Commander of Awesomeness Forever Man. Well, I've been wondering about all of the different characters from the PJO/HoO/KC series that we don't really know about and stories/adventures we have heard them mentioned but not elaborate on. So this is the official Rick Riordan Possible Miniseries blog, where we shall discuss the possibilities of different miniseries about characters in RR's books we don't really know about.

Do not post any spoilers of The Son of Sobek until May 7! You will be blocked until the day it comes out if you do Rick Riordan is going to release a Kane Chronicles and Percy Jackson crossover on May 7th! 'No, I'm not kidding, see for yourself!' It will be a short story that runs about 40 pages and will be released in the back of the paperback version of The Serpents Shadow. The name of the short story is The Son of Sobek.
An official preview has already been uploaded on Facebook!
The crossover will be featuring Percy and Carter Kane and, as can be seen from the excerpt, IT'S GOING TO BE EPIC!
So what do you think? I thought a crossover wouldn't be written until HoO was finished and maybe not even before the Norse series. Well, to be honest, I neve…

Well Since The Son of Neptune has came out the question that has been pondering my mind is ISN'T Percy missing a year of school while The Giant War is happening? I mean in The Son of Neptune Percy claimed Hera stole eight months of his life (which is incorrect). So he went missing in December, five months after the events of The Last Olympian so school would have started a couple of weeks after the events of The Last Olympian and Percy was most likely in school for five months before he just disappeared come December. Then Hera puts him in a very deep sleep and he wakes up in like June. So Percy has missed what, 6 months of school? And everybody who's in high school knows you can't just miss 6 months and still expect to pass whatever grade you're…

I have read the PJO series so many times I've lost count and it's the same with HoO, since I bought MoA I have already read it like 30 times! There's just one thing I can't figure out... How is the Athena Parthenos supposed to help defeat Gaea? It's a flipping statue! Sure it radiates a lot of power but what does it all mean?!
Please Remember no personal attacks for someone's opinion, no crazy theories that make no sense, no spamming and no being off-topic.

Hi everyone,
Wikia is rolling out a fun new initiative for the holiday season called "Time to Play" where we ask our wikis what page they’re most proud to have represent them.
There will be an official blog going out on Nov. 1 but we wanted to reach out to you early and see if you were interested in participating now.
If you wanted to participate, a "Time to Play" badge would go up on the right rail of the mainpage, that links users to the page that you choose, while the footer will live on that same page that links to hub pages (eg. http://www.wikia.com/Entertainment ) for Time to Play goodies. You can see how the badge looks by clicking here and how the footer will appear by clicking here.

Well, the hunters do not appear in SoN nor the MoA (I have not read this, but I know they do not appear). I saw some suggesting that Thalia was kidnapped because she did not appear in CHB, but I thought of something else ... The hunters have to know the Roman demigods. I mean, the older hunters must have witnessed the birth of Rome (as Zoe). After all, what if Artemis met with Roman demigods and was with the hunters? She would have to take the form of Diana, and so the hunters know the truth. As the hunters do not fight each other (They accepted a daughter of Atlas ...), then the gods will not need to use the mist against her. And because the hunters seemed to know nothing about it? For the same reason that Mars pretended not to know Percy…

As everyone on this site should know Mark of Athena is one of or possibly even the greatest work Riordan has done yet. To say the least it is without a doubt the best of The Heroes of Olympus Series and brings the series back to made it roots a masterpiece.
Well to say the least the ending of Mark of Athena also is the the worst cliffhanger of the series(at least I think that). The ending left me horrified and knowing some of the prophecies about the future didn’t relieve it. This is my discussion of what we know and don’t know so sit back and enjoy the read.
Of course we all know the “Prophecy of Seven” and this is our main topic.

So much like how it didn't take us long to find all the small things in The Son of Neptune didn't add up (like how Percy said Hera took 8 months instead of 6), with The Mark of Athena out, we can find all the little mistakes Rick made. While I have found at least 3 or 4 obvious ones already, have you all noticed any? If you find any mistakes with the book that don't add up with the previous books or simply events in the book themselves, feel free to share. If it isn't a plot hole, then someone will correct you.
So to get the ball rolling, here is a very obvious one:
- Reyna told Annabeth that Hylla had left that morning. However Hylla was at the Senate meeting when the Argo II arrived at the end of The Son of Neptune. So if she did leave, she left …

Hey Camp Half-Blood fans, Mark of Athena finally came out!! Have you read it yet?
If you haven't, check out this book description:
"Told from the perspectives of four different demigods, including Annabeth Chase from Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Mark of Athena unites the Greek and Roman main characters from The Lost Hero and The Son of Neptune. In a fantastical ship called the Argo II, seven demigods journey by air across the United States and by sea to Rome on their quest to defeat the earth mother, Gaea. Meanwhile, war is breaking out between the Roman and Greek demigods they left behind, and only Annabeth holds the key to restoring peace.”
Sounds good right? If you have read the book what did you think? Here are what critics and fellow fans …

In The Son of Neptune, Frank says that some half-bloods leave Camp Jupiter to follow Greek ways. However, the Romans do not know about Camp Half-Blood, so the half-bloods that leave may not find it. What if they formed their own camp, thus making their own third camp? If this is the case, (I realize it is unlikely) then the seventh might be from this camp (don't just say Annabeth is the seventh and nothing else, as that is not confirmed). Also, I wonder what the name of the camp would be, my guess is Camp Zeus, just to spite the Romans.

Hi, all. There was a topic brought up in the chat that stemmed from a brilliant question pertaining to the cabins. While joining a cabin is awesome, the cabins have absolutely no activity in them nor do they really push users to contribute (IMO). However, I think a way to bring more attention to the cabins is via 'nominations' or 'achievements'.
In short, these 'nominations/achievements' are articles that you have brought up to par and will 'nominate' it to the cabin. The users that have joined in the cabin will comment and decide if it is a good article. Such critiques would be on content, (specifically to this cabin) like whether all of the book mentions have been covered, whether anything needs referencing, any style problems, etc. Shoul…

On the character pages, there are some things that should really be removed or changed, but I think my edit would be undone if I did it, so I'm going to suggest them here.
You know how on like, every single character page their name is in Ancient Greek? We really need to stop doing that. Why? Because I honestly don't think anyone cares what Rachel Elizabeth Dare's name is in Greek. I can understand some of the Greek demigods who have Greek names, like Percy, but Roman Demigods? They are Roman. There is no reason their name should be written in Greek. Monsters, Gods, and other characters with Greek names are fine, but for sure not mortals and Roman demigods.
Next thing, the spoiler template. This one isn't very bad, just a total nusiance. I mean y…

I was just thinking: theoretically, since the gods follow along with modern times and stuff, why don't any of their kids upgrade their weapons? I never see any of the demigods using guns, or hand-grenades, or any modern weapons in any of the books (I think they mention a shotgun once but that's it). Again, this is highly hypothetical, since the demigods are used to traditional weapons. I'm just curious as to why they can make all sorts of magical items and not any bronze bullets or something. What do you think?

Now one of the most controversial topics on the Camp Half-Blood Wiki is who is this "Mark of Athena," or who has this "Mark of Athena," and if the "Mark of Athena" basically means that whoever has this mark or is this mark will be the seventh in the prophecy.
As the first chapter of is and who is the seventh.
The first chapter is coming from Annabeth's point of view, which is making me think is she the seventh? I mean, Jason, Piper, Leo, Percy, Hazel, and Frank all had chapters from their point of views, and they are one of the seventh, so could this possibly mean Annabeth is the seventh? I know that just because Annabeth has her own point of view, it does not necessarily mean Annabeth is the seventh in the prophecy, but possibly, still.

This blog will be about the first chapter of The Mark of Athena. I will describe the role of Annabeth and what to expect from the book itself. Keep in mind that these are just my ideas and there is no guarantee they are correct. Also, this blog contains a few spoilers about the chapter, if you have not already read it, you might want to go back. That being said, let us begin with a few noticeable quotes and then gradually start talking about Annabeth.
The chapter starts with the following: "Until she met the exploding statue, Annabeth thought she was prepared for anything."
Now contrarily to popular belief, this is not a reference to Terminus, the Roman god of boundaries. As the Argo II is arriving at Camp Jupiter in the chapter, there is no w…
